October 20th, 2026 Leadership and officer Survivability - Mansfield OH

Description

Real-world experience. Professional instruction. Practical skills

Approved for 8 Hours Ohio CPT for 2026

Effective leadership is a vital skill at every level of law enforcement. Recent and historical events alike show how directly leadership affects the survivability of first-line officers in a crisis. Leadership in a tactical crisis doesn't begin when the crisis does — the ability to lead through rapidly evolving, dangerous situations must be developed long before, and it's not limited to the first-line patrol officer. Both the officer and the chain of command must understand that a fluid crisis demands the right leader and the right leadership style. This course builds the qualities, tools, and principles of effective leadership, while developing that potential in your patrol and tactical officers.
