Active Threat Training

Active threat incidents are no longer limited to military or law enforcement environments. They can happen anywhere — in workplaces, schools, shopping centers, or public spaces during everyday routines. When seconds matter, your first priority as a civilian is protecting yourself and your family. This Active Threat Response training in Ohio gives you the knowledge and skills to respond decisively in a crisis — not to hunt an attacker, but to survive, escape, and defend if necessary.

The program combines classroom instruction and scenario-based training to prepare civilians for the realities of modern active threats. Students learn to recognize warning signs, make rapid decisions under stress, and employ practical defensive strategies when escape is not possible. Training also covers how to respond appropriately when law enforcement arrives on scene, ensuring you are identified as a protected party, not a threat. The focus is on realistic civilian environments — workplaces, schools, malls, and public spaces where you and your family may face an active threat.

• Moving yourself and loved ones to safety under stress
