Description
This one-day course introduces law enforcement officers to the practical application of ballistic shields.
Students will build a foundation in safe and effective shield use during single and partner responses, focusing on movement, positioning, communication and live fire.
Through structured drills officers will work confined spaces, doorways, and hallways while integrating handgun and rifle employment and maintaining proper coverage. The course emphasizes, proper operation of a ballistic shield in high-risk environments.
