Improve officer survivability through practical ballistic shield training
focused on realistic decision-making, communication, and deployment
under operational conditions.
This practical course is designed for law enforcement officers assigned or
expected to deploy a ballistic shield during the performance of their duties.
Following classroom instruction, officers will develop and refine ballistic shield
techniques through structured repetitions in a shoot house before applying those
skills during reality-based force-on-force exercises.

Cost: $300.00
Equipment needed: Ballistic Shield and helmet, Duty rifle, if issued, (2 magazines
minimum), sling/sights. Duty pistol (3 magazines). Duty gear. Holster must fully
cover the trigger and remain open when the pistol is drawn (no SERPA or similar
holsters). Eye and ear protection. 300 rounds rifle and 300 rounds of pistol
ammo.
