Develop greater proficiency with the patrol rifle through professional
instruction focused on sound fundamentals and practical application.
Annual rifle qualification establishes a minimum standard. This course is designed
to develop officers' practical skills to safely and effectively deploy and employ the
patrol rifle during law enforcement operations.

Start: October 5th-6th @0900 - 1700

Location: Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office Range | 4585 Drinkle Rd, Southwest Amanda OH 43102

Cost: $500.00 per student

Equipment needed: Operational AR-style rifle (3 magazines minimum), sling, and
optic (if used). Operational pistol (3 magazines). Duty gear. Holster must fully
cover the trigger and remain open when the pistol is drawn (no SERPA or similar
holsters). Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred). Weather-appropriate
clothing. 750 rounds rifle and 300 rounds of pistol ammo.
